Welcome to Daily Hue

Daily Hue is a creative photo game where players photograph the world around them to match a daily color. Our community thrives when everyone feels safe, respected, and inspired to play. These Community Guidelines outline the standards we expect from all users to keep Daily Hue a positive and inclusive space.

By using Daily Hue, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our discretion.

1. Be Respectful

Daily Hue is a place for creativity and fun. Treat other players the way you'd want to be treated.

• No harassment or bullying. Do not target, intimidate, or repeatedly engage with someone in a way that is unwelcome. This includes comments, captions, and any other interactions within the app.
• No hate speech. Content or language that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age is strictly prohibited.
• No threats. Do not post content that threatens violence or serious harm to any person or group.
• Be kind in comments. Keep feedback constructive and encouraging. Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not.

2. Keep Content Appropriate

Daily Hue is about photographing everyday objects that match a color. All content you share — including photos, captions, and comments — must be appropriate for a general audience.

• No nudity or sexual content. Do not post photos containing nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive content.
• No graphic violence. Do not share images depicting gore, graphic injuries, animal cruelty, or other disturbing violent content.
• No illegal activity. Do not post content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates illegal activities, including drug use, underage drinking, or weapons violations.
• No dangerous challenges. Do not encourage or depict activities that could lead to physical harm.

3. No Spam or Manipulation

Help us keep the Daily Hue experience authentic and enjoyable for everyone.

• No spam. Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content. This includes promotional material, advertisements, and link spam in captions or comments.
• No fake accounts. Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate the app experience, evade bans, or impersonate others.
• No impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, brand, or organization in a misleading way.
• No system abuse. Do not attempt to exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or interfere with the normal operation of the app.

4. Respect Privacy

Everyone deserves to have their privacy respected.

• Do not share others' personal information. Do not post photos, captions, or comments that reveal another person's private information (such as phone numbers, addresses, or other identifying details) without their consent.
• Be mindful when photographing. While Daily Hue is about capturing colors in the real world, be respectful of the people and spaces around you. Avoid photographing people without their awareness or consent, especially in private settings.

5. Protect Minors

The safety of younger users is a top priority.

• Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Hue (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
• No exploitation. Any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any way is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
• Parental guidance. If you are under 18, we encourage you to use Daily Hue with parental awareness and guidance.

6. Intellectual Property

Respect the creative work of others.

• Original content. Only share photos that you have taken yourself or have the right to share.
• No copyright infringement. Do not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

7. How to Report

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. We take all reports seriously and review them promptly.

To report a feed post:

3. Choose the reason that best describes the violation

To report a comment:

To report a user:

You can manage your blocked users in Settings > Blocked Users.

8. Enforcement

We review reported content and accounts to determine whether they violate these Community Guidelines. When a violation is confirmed, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Content removal. The offending photo, caption, or comment will be removed.
• Warning. The user will receive a warning about the violation.
• Temporary suspension. The user's account may be temporarily restricted from posting or interacting.
• Permanent ban. For severe or repeated violations, the user's account will be permanently terminated.
• Legal reporting. Content involving the exploitation of minors, credible threats of violence, or other illegal activity will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account at our sole discretion if we believe it poses a risk to the safety or well-being of our community, even if it does not explicitly violate a specific guideline listed above.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Daily Hue after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated guidelines.
